| How does it work?
This measurement method records rotation angles on input and output through incremental encoders. The difference between nominal and actual value is calculated for the output. The accuracy is quite excellent and proofs for failure detection in the range of µ-rad. Using the nominal axis distance for the gears, this method is very close to reality. It is suitable for gears, pairs of gears, assemblies and gearboxes. Cycle times do allow 100% testing in the production line. What is the result?
